Healthee’s Privacy Policy

Introduction

Insurights, Inc. dba Healthee (“Company” or “We”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy (“Privacy Policy”). This policy describes the types of information we use, collect and store personal information that we collect or receive from or about you (“you”) in connection with our “Zoe by Healthee” App (our “App”), https://healthee.com/ (the “Website”) and the services provided therein (collectively, the “Services”).

We greatly respect your privacy, which is why we make every effort to provide a platform that would live up to the highest user privacy standards. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, so you can fully understand our practices in relation to personal data. “personal information” means any information that can be used, alone or together with other data, to uniquely identify any living human being and any information deemed as Personally Identifiable Information by privacy laws. “Important note: Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit in any way your statutory rights, including your rights to a remedy or other means of enforcement.

Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Services, including: (i) information that you or your employer actively provide us with, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, birth date, gender, health insurance plans, member ID, information about your interaction with our App (including your searches and appointments), costumer support interaction (recorded calls, support tickets, scheduling appointments), or any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline; and (ii) information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our App and usage details. We collect this information as follows: (i) directly from you when you provide it to us, (ii) automatically as you navigate through the App or our Website, and (iii) information we collect from third parties (e.g. your employer). Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.

Information You Provide to Us

The personal information we collect on or through our App includes: (i) information that you provide when creating an account and making use of our App (such as name, email address, health insurance plan, password and, in some cases, phone number and address), (ii) information that you provide when filling in forms on our App (such as insurance plan, member ID, birth date, gender, address and other information you choose to provide us with), and (iii) information you provide through your search queries on the App (such as answers to queries or any other information you choose to provide us with).

The personal information we collect on or through our Website includes: (i) information you provide us with when requesting a demo (such as whether you are a broker or an HR representative, your name, last name and email address) (ii) information that you provide through the “careers” section of our website (such as first and last name, email address, phone number, social media channels, resume and references), and (iii) information that you provide us with when you register to create an account through our Website ( such as name, email address, password, phone number, and any other information you choose to provide us with).

Information you provide us with through other channels includes (i) information you provide us with when you contact us for customer support (such as name, email address, address, phone number, health insurance plan, member ID, medical appointments, recordings of calls with us, support tickets and any other information you choose to provide us with), (ii) information you provide us with when you email us at the email address provided on our website (such as name, email address and any other information you choose to provide us with), (iii) information you provide us with when you contact us through our social media channels (name, username, inquiry and any other information that you choose to provide us with).

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies

As you navigate through and interact with our App or Website, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including, but not limited to (i) details of your visits to our App or Website, including traffic data, location data, logs, screen taps, searches and appointments, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the App or Website, (ii) information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type, (iii) the information we collect automatically is such as statistical data and does not include personal information. The information we collect helps us to improve our App and our Website and to deliver better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to: (i) estimate our audience size and usage patterns, (ii) store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize our App or our Website according to your individual interests, (iii) speed up your searches, and (iv) recognize you when you return to our App or our Website.
The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include Cookies (or browser cookies), Flash Cookies and App Local Storage. Certain features of our App may use local stored objects to collect and store information about your preferences and to save App settings. Web Beacons. Pages of our App and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).

Information We Collect From Third Parties (E.g., your employee, insurance companies)

We collect personal information directly from your employer when we are hired to provide our Services to your employer, such information is comprised of: name, birth date, gender, email address, health plan, email address, phone number, information collected through your employer’s interaction with our customer support (such as call recordings and support tickets) or any other information that you employer decides to share with us to provide you and your employer our Services.

We collect personal information from insurance companies such as: Member ID.

We collect Personal Information from other third-party sources, such as your name.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information that we collect about you for the following purposes: (i) to present our App and/or our Website and their contents to you, (ii) to provide you with our Services, (iii) to provide you with information that you request from us, (iii) to communicate with you about our Services (iv) to fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it, (v) to notify you about changes to our Services, (vi) for product improvement, (vii) for personalized search results improvement, (viii) to provide you or your employer with customer support, (ix) to help you schedule appointments with your healthcare providers, (x) to establish a business relationship with you, (xi) for marketing purposes, (xii) in any other way we may describe when you provide the information, and (xiii) for any other purpose with your consent.

Anonymous Information

Some of the abovementioned personal information will be used for detecting, taking steps to prevent, and prosecution of fraud or other illegal activity, to identify and repair errors, to conduct audits, and for security purposes (including, conduct security investigations and risk assessments), as well as prevent or take action against activities that are, or may be, in breach of our terms of service or applicable law. Personal information may also be used to comply with applicable laws, with investigations performed by the relevant authorities, law enforcement purposes, and/or to exercise or defend legal claims. In certain cases, we may anonymize or de-identify your personal information. “Anonymous Information” means information which does not enable identification of an individual user, such as aggregated information about the use of our App and services. We may use Anonymous Information and/or disclose it to third parties for our business purposes and further use such anonymized data for internal business purposes, including, without limitation, to improve our App and services and for research and development purposes.

How we share your personal information

We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this Privacy Policy: (i) to our subsidiaries and affiliates, (ii) to business partners, contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business, (iii) to a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of the Company’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by the Company about our App or Website users is among the assets transferred, (iv) to fulfill the purpose for which you provide it (including to provide you with support, and help you schedule appointments with your healthcare providers), (v) for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information, (vi) to comply with any regulators, court order, banks, law, legal process and/or competent authorities, including to respond to any government or regulatory request to comply with applicable laws, regulations and rules (including, without limitation, federal, state or local laws), and requests of law enforcement, regulatory and other governmental agencies or if required to do so by court order, as well as for internal compliance procedures and to protect the safety, security, and integrity of the Company, our Services, customers, employees, property, and the public, and (vii) to enforce or apply our terms of use, and (viii) in order to facilitate your access to Third Party Integrations (as described below)

Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information. All information you provide to us is stored on our servers behind firewalls. The safety and security of your information also depend on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our App and/or our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our App. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the App and/or the Website.

Data Retention

We store your personal information for as long as such personal information is necessary in accordance with the purpose for which we collected it, and as long as necessary to fulfill your requests or inquiries or provide services or until we proactively delete it or you send a valid deletion request. In certain circumstances we may store your Personal Information for longer periods of time, for example (i) where we are required to do so in accordance with legal, regulatory, tax or accounting requirements, or (ii) for us to have an accurate record of your dealings with us in the event of any complaints or challenges, or (iii) if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation relating to your personal information or dealings.

Your Rights

In some jurisdictions, you may be afforded specific rights regarding your personal information. Subject to such eligibility, you may have the following rights to:
Access personal information held about you. Your right of access may normally be exercised free of charge, however we reserve the right to charge an appropriate administrative fee where permitted by applicable law;
Request a rectification of your personal information where the information we hold about you is incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading;
Request the erasure of your personal information in certain circumstances, you may request the deletion of your account and any and all materials that we have collected and saved with respect to You, at any time and to request that we cease further dissemination of the information, and have third parties cease processing the information. Be aware that requesting deletion, unlike unsubscribing, is total and irreversible. This means that we will also lose a record that you have ever been on our systems, including any request that you have given us in the past. If you choose in the future to open a new account, you will appear to us as a completely new customer.

If any of the rights listed above apply to you and you wish to exercise them, please contact us at info@healthee.co from the email address associated with your account, and we will use commercially reasonable efforts to fulfill your request. When processing your request, we may ask you for additional information to confirm or verify your identity and for security purposes, before processing and/or honoring your request. We reserve the right to charge a fee where permitted by law, for instance if your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. In the event that your request would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others (for example, would impact the duty of confidentiality we owe to others) or if we are legally entitled to deal with your request in a different way than initially requested, we will address your request to the maximum extent possible, all in accordance with applicable law.

If, at any time, you would like to stop receiving marketing emails, you can unsubscribe by writing us to info@healthee.co or unsubscribing at the bottom of each marketing email, and we will process your request within a reasonable time after receipt.

If, at any time, you would like to stop receiving marketing SMS, you can unsubscribe by replying “STOP” to an SMS message you received or by following the link embedded on each SMS and we will process your request within a reasonable time after receipt.

Should you ever decide to delete your account, you may do so by emailing info@healthee.co. If you terminate your account, any association between your account and personal information we store will no longer be accessible through your account.

Use of Third Party Services

In order to improve your experience using our App and/or our Website, we have implemented integrations with certain third-party software, compliance tools, platforms, applications, and services (each a “Third Party Integration”). To utilize Third Party Integrations, we ask that you to opt-in. When you do so, your access to and use of the Third Party Integration will be subject to the terms of use and privacy policy of such third party, each of which will be made available to you for review and acceptance. If you do not agree to the terms of use or privacy policy of a Third Party Integration, do not access or use such Third Party Integration.

Children Under the Age of 18

Our App is not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 may provide any information to os on the App or on the Website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly.

Log Files

We use log files. We use such information to analyze trends, administer the App and/or the Website, track users’ movement around the App and/or the Website, and gather demographic information.

Analytic tools

Amplitude. We use a tool called “Amplitude“. Amplitude is an event tracking, growth, and product analytics tool. We use Amplitude to see how users interact with the App and the Website (on anonymous basis) in order to gather insights and improve the product. More about Amplitude.

Google Analytics. The App and the Website use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of the App and/or the Website. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this Website, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other websites they used prior to coming to this Website. We use the information we get from Google Analytics to maintain and improve the Website and our products. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with Personal Information we collect. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this Website is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service, available at https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/terms/us/, and the Google Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. You may prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics by downloading and installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/.

Fullstory. We use a tool called “Fullstory” to collect information about use of the App and/or the Website. Fullstory may collect anonymous data on our users’ interactions within the App and/or the Website, which includes pages users visit, searches users make, users’ IP address and users’ device information (device model, operating system, and version). Specific provisions applicable under California privacy law

California Privacy Rights: California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our customers who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to info@healthee.co. Please note that we are only required to respond to one request per customer each year.

Our California Do Not Track Notice: Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. Please note that we do not respond to or honor DNT signals or similar mechanisms transmitted by web browsers.

Specific provisions applicable under California privacy law

This policy may be amended from time to time at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the App after performing any such changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, and therefore you’re requested so please check the policy periodically for updates.
The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the bottom of this page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting our App and this privacy policy to check for any changes.
